Compact Database

The Compact and Repair utility Jetcomp.exe is provided by Microsoft. Jetcomp.exe can compact fragmented Reg-Net databases if response time is slow and/or repair databases if they become corrupt. Reg-Net Registration places each show’s data in a single database file ShowData.MDB; this file is the only file that you should need to compact if response time appears to slow significantly. Note: Before compacting any database, even a corrupt database, be sure to make a backup copy before proceeding.
